Hold [Z] and press [C-Up], [C-Down], [C-Left], [C-Right], [B], [A] at the character selection screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Then, highlight the "?" box and press [R]. Note: High Five is the right hand of Dr. Kiln.

Fight as Sumo Santa
Hold [Z] and press [A], [C-Right], [A], [C-Right], [C-Down], [C-Up] at the character selection screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Then, highlight the "?" box and press [R].

CPU control
Hold [L] and press [A]x5, [C-Up], [C-Down], [C-Left], [C-Left], [B], [A], [C-Right] at the character selection screen.

Programmer's mode
Hold [L], press [A], [B], [A], [B], [A], [B], [C-Left], [C-Right], [C-Up], [C-Right], [C-Left], [C-Right] at the character selection screen. This mode allows any character to be selected, and has an overhead view of each stage.

Alternate character color
Highlight a fighter at the character selection screen and press [C-Down].

Random character
Press [L] + [R] at the character selection screen.
