BeatMania 2 DX 13: DistorteD Cheats - PlayStation 2

Special S-Random Mode
On the music select screen:

1. Highlight a song that starts with the letter "S" and press [Select].
2. Highlight a song that starts with the letter "R" and press [Select].
3. Highlight a song that starts with the letter "A" and press [Select].
4. Highlight a song that starts with the letter "N" and press [Select].

If you do this correctly, you will hear a samurai sound. This code prevents two consecutive 1/16 notes from being reassigned to the same key in S-RANDOM mode.

Unlock Cardinal Gate extras
To unlock the Cardinal Gate extra stage in Standard mode, you must first play all three stages in ascending difficulty (i.e. 3, 6, 8). You must also fulfill the Extra Stage requirements (i.e. Level 9+ = pass regardless of grade/Hard mode, etc.). Playing the Cardinal Gate will also unlock different extras.

Cardinal Gate - Pass all stages with an A or higher on ascending difficulties in Standard mode
Cardinal Gate BGM customization - Access and enter Cardinal Gate in Standard mode
Cardinal Gate frame customizations - Play each song in Cardinal Gate mode (no need to pass, but each must be played)
Cardinal Gate mode in Free Mode - Access Cardinal Gate in Standard mode. Hold select and start in Free Mode during the MUSIC SELECT loading sequence

Unlock Songs
Back Into The Light - Play it in the "Sota Fujimori" Expert Course
Hybrid Landscape - Play one round of Standard, Expert, or Dan modes
Infinite Cave - Play three rounds of Standard, Expert, or Dan modes
QUANTUM TELEPORTATION - Play five rounds of Standard, Expert, or Dan modes
The Hope of Tommorow - Play it in the "Sota Fuijimori" Expert Course

Play Why did you go away ~BOY'S REASON~
To play Why did you go away ~BOY'S REASON~ choose Why did you go away ~GIRL'S SIGHT~, then immediately hold the Select button.

Unlock CALDERA
To unlock the secret 5-key revival song "CALDERA", clear the "beatmania" Expert course.
