Cheat mode

Random stadium
Select exhibition mode, then hold [L2] + [R2] at the stadium selection screen. Note: Repeated use of this code will eventually result in the appearance of a few bonus stadiums that are not normally selectable.
Weekly game simulation
Hold [L1] + [R2] at the ''Play Week'' screen in season or dynasty modes to simulate all games for that week.
Show-off
Hold [L2] + [R2] after bringing the ball inside the 5-yard line.

Hints
Easy punt block
When the CPU is setting up before the 4th down, open the PlayStation lid and remove the game disc. The play will still continue, but the punter will not punt the ball, giving you an easy punt block.
Prevent CPU field goals
Timing is important for this trick. When the CPU hikes the ball, pause game play during the split second when the ball is visible while being thrown from the center to the second man. When the game is resumed, the ball will go between his hands and it will be ruled a fumble, in which the play obviously will not count.
