Primary Collection of Cheats
Hidden sounds
Click on the letter "P" in the word "Mario
Paint" or the falling star on the title screen. After awhile
a new background will appear. Click on the moving objects to hear
a sound. Quickly click on a falling star when it appears. Harps
will play as objects fall from the sky.
Normally when you click on Mario to begin, you will see someone
doing sit-ups and people cheering in the background. Click the
letter "P" to change the sounds on that sequence. ".
The background and the music will change. Wait until the train
comes. When Mario is directly in front of the second car (the
one directly behind the engine), click on him. The sequence with
the person doing sit-ups will start. However, instead of the sound
of people cheering in the background, you will hear some people
chanting then shouting "Mario Paint!"
Change Mario's size
Click on the letter "M" in the word "Mario
Paint" to shrink and expand Mario.
Hit Mario
Click on the letter "A" in the word "Mario"
to cause it to fall and hit Mario.
Walking "R"
Click on the letter "R" in the word "Mario
Paint" to put an eye on the letter and move it around.
Alternate music
Click on the letters "I" or "O"
in the word "Mario".
Yoshi cameo
Click on the letter "A" in the word "Paint".
Shake the screen
Click on the letter "I" in the word "Paint".
View credits
Click on the letter "N" in the word "Paint".
Color title screen
Click on the letter "T" in the word "Paint".
Undo Dog moves
When in the stamp editor, allow your mouse to idle
so that it does not move for awhile. You will then see the Undo
Dog hop out of its normal position until you move the cursor.
Hints
Larger pictures
Note: This trick requires the Mario Paint players guide.
Use the following steps to make a picture in the players guide
appear larger. Find the picture you want, then go to the create
stamps mode. If it is a one stamp picture, divide it into four
8x8 sections. Note: Each little dot is now supposed to be a 2x2
dot, since each dot on the 8x8 pictures is now four times as large.
This should only take four stamps if it is a one stamp picture,
eight if it is a two stamp picture, etc. The finished picture
should be four times as large.
