Possession Orb
Hold [L] to chant and create a Possession Orb
made from Spooce. The longer you Chant, the larger the Orb (and
farther it can travel). Once formed, you can move the Orb around
the level. However, it will sink if you try to bring it across
water. If you do not use the Orb within a certain amount of time
it will disappear.
Meep Herder Village: No Meep herding
If you do not mind losing a small bit of Quarma, you
can play without herding the Meeps. Just pick up one of the four
Mudokons in the Meep field and take them up the ramp you came
down. Walk off the edge, pick them up again, and throw them off
(do not follow them). Repeat until all of them are dead. Then,
get 50 Spooce and go to the Resurrection Totem. Revive the Mudokons
five times (the four you killed, and one that is there at the
start of the level). The four that you have killed no longer sit
around ignoring you -- they are now perfectly normal Mudokons.
This takes a while to do, but nowhere near as long as herding
the Meeps.
To get the Mudokons to follow you without herding the sheep, simply
grab the Mudokon one at a time and bring them to the Tomahawker-transforming
thing. Pay the Spooce amount and they will turn into Tomahawkers,
and will obey you. This way, you will not have to herd the Meeps
or kill them and lose Quarma.
Splinterz Manufacturing: Inhabints
sign
When you posses the Glukkon "Splinterz",
look at the desk to see an Inhabints sign.
Spliterz Manufacturing: Floating
and sliding Abe
When possessing/resurrecting, a laser will hit Abe.
As the laser is hitting Abe, start running in circles and he will
float/slide around.
Jump higher as Munch
As soon as you jump out of the water, immediately press
[A] when you see Munch's headport.
Crossing water as Abe
A quick way to get across water is take control of
Abe and jump repeatedly. You may lose life. Quickly press [A]
to avoid going in the water.
Move faster as Abe
When being chased as Abe, repeatedly press [A].
Getting the Mudukons across the minefield
On the level where you have to get all of the Mudokons
across the big minefield, you can carry them all across the left
side of it. Be careful not to go too high on the side or you will
slide down and probably hit a mine. Note: Before you carry everyone
across., make sure Munch is near the thing where the egg goes
when you die -- it is very hard to go back. To go back easier,
just have Abe die then have Munch revive him. Also, have a lot
of Spooce on Abe. You will have to transform all of the Mudokons
to Mudarchers (the ones that shoot) in order to survive. That
will cost 20 Spooce, and will cost 30 Spooce to do it if they
die.
In the level with all the mines, where it appears you must take
several Mudokon across, there is a much less time consuming and
frustrating way to do this. Create a Possession Orb then cross
the minefield into a Slig. Then, go up the ramp and pull the lever
to open the gate. Go through the gate and across the bridge then
try to kill as many other Sligs as possible. Keep doing this until
all Sligs are gone. Next, round up the Mudokons near the Resurrection
Egg and Totem Pole. Take all the Mudokons to the small fence where
you came from and throw them over. Walk to the left of your screen
next to the water, and there will be another fence. You can throw
the Mudokons over this fence if you are in the correct location.
Once on the other side, stroll over the bridge, convert your clan
of Mudokons into Mudarchers, and finish the level.
Jump to the two guys and throw them down into the Spooce. Then
carry them back out the way you came. After making sure that everyone
is somewhat close to the edge of the mines. get yourself to the
other side and throw a barrel into the mines. Then, turn around,
grab another one, and run back to the group through the empty
minefield. Once you get back to the group, turn around and wait
for the mines to return. Then, throw the barrel, tell everyone
to follow you, and run.
Get inside Glukkon's office
In the A Brewery To Be level, you can get inside the
Glukkon's office. Quickly grab one of the Scrubs that are chanting
before the intermission sequence appears. When it does, you will
notice that two of the three Scrubs escape. Throw the remaining
Scrub on the door switch and walk in the office. Note: The instant
you step inside you are killed by a laser.
Fun with Sligs and Slogs
In both Sloghuts, you can have fun with the Sligs and
Slogs. Drop the Sligs into the Slog pens and watch the Slogs chase
them down, trying to take a big chomp out of them. The Sligs will
eventually die, so you still need to put the Slogs into the recycler
just in case.
Health power-up
On the later levels when using Abe or Munch, have the
character you are not controlling stand next to a health vending
machine. When Abe (for example) gets hit, switch back to Munch,
use the machine, then quickly tap "Character Change" before
the little guy drinks. You will find the health power-up will
go to the character who is nowhere near the vending machine (in
this case Abe).
Recycling Machines
On any level that has a "Recycling Machine"
that tears up anything within range (for example, any of the Sloghut
levels), as Abe you can pick up your friends or enemies and throw
them in.
In the Sloghut levels, there is a machine that Munch controls
that can pick people up. Pick up all the Slogs and drop them outside
of their pens. Then, before they are killed, drop the Sligs inside
the pen. Next, pick up one and move it around. Notice the Slogs
on the ground always chase its shadow. Hold the Slig so that its
shadow is over the recycling machine and watch the slogs run into
it. When they are all dead, drop the Sligs in it.
On any other level, have Abe call all of his friends then switch
to Munch. Have him call all his friends. Note that Abe and his
buddies follow you. Go near some enemies. As soon as the enemies
see you, call your friends again and run into the recycling machine.
What follows is a nice massacre killing Munch, the Fuzzles following
him, Abe, the Mudokens following him, and any enemies that ran
into the machine.
If Munch ever gets too close to the machine while he is riding
his wheelchair, the wheelchair will get destroyed, but Munch will
be flung safely from harm.
Alternate endings with Quarma
The ending is always different depending how much Quarma
you have. Save as many people as possible, because you may not
be able to complete the game at the end. if your Quarma level
is low, you will see a FMV sequence that shows the Fuzzles killing
you. The level is after you get Lulu rich, and you enter the ship.
Have at least 75% of the Quarma bar filled to see the good ending.
